Meghal R. Antani, MD

Dr. Antani is an Interventional Radiologist who greatly enjoys providing minimally invasive treatments that dramatically improve a patient’s quality of life and allow the patient to go home the same day, thus minimizing time away from work and family.

He received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio.  He completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis, MN, followed by a sub-specialized fellowship in Interventional Radiology at the Institute for Vascular Health at the Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY.  He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Interventional Radiology, which is the highest level of certification possible in this subspecialty.

His areas of expertise include malfunctioning dialysis access treatment, uterine fibroid embolization, varicose vein treatment, and pain management procedures.

He is an member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Radiologic Society of North America, and MedChi, the Maryland State Medical Society.  He serves on the editorial boards of several scientific newsletters and journals, and is a frequent presenter at various scientific meetings.
